Driver code of conduct policy

This Driver Code of Conduct ("Code") outlines the expectations and standards of behaviour for drivers operating under the Sway Taxi Limited platform ("Sway", "Sway Taxi", "we," "us," or "our"). By accepting ride requests and providing transportation services through our platform, drivers agree to abide by the terms of this Code.

Driver Code of Conduct Policy

1) Professionalism

  • Drivers must provide courteous and professional service to passengers at all times. This includes greeting passengers, assisting with luggage, and addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have.

  • Drivers are expected to maintain a neat and clean appearance while operating under the Sway Taxi platform. This includes wearing appropriate attire and maintaining personal hygiene standards.

2) Safety

  • Drivers must adhere to all traffic laws and regulations and operate their vehicles safely and responsibly. This includes obeying speed limits, signalling lane changes, and avoiding aggressive or reckless driving behaviours.

  • Drivers are responsible for ensuring that their vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition. This includes regular maintenance checks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

3) Respect

  • Drivers must treat all passengers with respect and dignity, regardless of their background, identity, or personal characteristics. Discriminatory or offensive behaviour towards passengers is strictly prohibited.

  • Drivers must respect passengers' property and refrain from damaging or defacing their belongings. This includes keeping the vehicle clean and free of debris and ensuring that passengers' belongings are handled with care.

4) Compliance

  • Drivers must comply with all applicable policies and procedures set forth by Sway, including but not limited to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Driver Code of Conduct.

  • Drivers must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements governing the operation of transportation services. This includes obtaining and maintaining any required licenses, permits, or certifications.

5) Zero tolerance policy

  • Any driver found to be in violation of this Code or engaged in unsafe or inappropriate behaviour will be subject to immediate suspension or termination from the Sway platform.

  • Discrimination of any kind, including but not limited to discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability, will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination.
